Tauhara Geothermal Power Station

Overview:

The Tauhara Project represents a remarkable endeavor that showcases the dedication, skill, and commitment of our team. Over the course of approximately 16 months, we have diligently handled, installed, and removed over 1100 tons of scaffolding and height access equipment at Contact Energy's Tauhara Geothermal Power Station construction site.

Through careful management of repetitive work fatigue and prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of our team members, we have demonstrated our unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards of team management, productivity, and health and safety throughout the project. This dedication is not only evident in the successful execution of our tasks but also in our focus on providing training and apprenticeships to the local staff employed for this project.

By up-skilling local workers, we are not only investing in the community but also ensuring that the local industry will have a robust workforce capable of handling the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the plant once it is operational. The Tauhara Project stands as a testament to our team's ability to overcome challenges, deliver excellence, and leave a lasting positive impact on both the project and the community it serves.
